This places tiles such that they have the most possible travel connections between them. This makes for easier maps
Medium connections:
This places tiles such that they are occasionally offset some from one another limiting connections.
Bottlenecks & few connections:
This will reduce the possible number of connections to 1 meaning there could be some serious bottlenecks in the map. This makes for very difficult maps.

Use Cave Variant (

This tells the map generator how difficult a tile is to traverse. Because a Cave offers benefit where a Mountain is just a block, using the Cave Variant will make tiles slightly easier.
